These are all my friends here at S&B. You'll sometimes see them in the photos i post on my social media accounts. Here they are, along with a brief description of them.
This is my friend Kit. She is probably the most clever person I know. she's really intelligent and is always playing strategy games like chess or scrabble or sudoku or something lol. She loves solving murder mysteries and wants to be a private investigator.
This is my best friend, Abby. She is the coolest person I have EVER met. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, along with her older brother (my husband) Stephen. Abby is really into rock music, guitars, motorcycles, and rottweiler dogs. She also served in the military for a while, touring in Afghanistan. Her biggest hobby is making everyone look FABULOUS. She sews clothes and she runs her own mega salon where she not only does hair, but also piercings and tattoos! She did the one on her arm herself.
This is Friday. OMG she's so sweet. She is a very strong catholic girl with an INSAAANE love for Christmas because she was born on Christmas Eve. Even in summer months, she can be seen baking cookies and humming "Deck the Halls." So naturally, every year she takes over the Christmas decoration committee at the clubhouse. She is also an AMAZING cook... I am forever addicted to her homemade from scratch sugar cookies, right along with everyone else. Her recipe is top secret and she's not telling.
This is Fiona. out of all of us, she is probably the most shy and introverted... But she has a massive heart and is suuuper sweet. She usually gets picked on because she speaks with a stutter, but fortunately, since being accepted into our friend group, it isn't much of an issue for her anymore. Her biggest hobbies are making broomsticks (she sells them as props or costume pieces) and growing spices in her garden.
OMG THIS GIRL. HAHA this is Filiz (pronounced like "Feliz" the Spanish word for "happy"). She is the most hilarious person.... Being a vampire, she likes to run around spooking people. She is always hiding in random places and jumping out at us when we walk by. It's an ongoing game. Filiz's family is from Spain, where she was born. She speaks fluent Spanish, cooks amazing Mexican food, and can usually be seen somewhere playing her guitar that her father had made for her in Barcelona.
This is Dixie. Dixie has come a LOOOOONG way since we first met her. She comes from an abusive past and so when she first showed up, she was very skeptical of everything and didn't trust anyone... But over the time she's spent with us, she's come out of her shell a LOT and is now a pretty happy person. Dixie loves to write poetry as a way to vent her emotions and sometimes lets me read her poems! She's really good at it and keeps several journals filled with her work.
This is Hazel, the smartest person I have ever known. She is an inventor and a whiz at all kinds of math and science. She can usually be found playing chess with Kit or inventing something. Her favorite hobbies are reading, inventing, and digging for fossils. She has a small collection of them and dreams of one day being an archaeologist.
This is Jamie. Jamie is SOOO funny. She is so boy crazy and flirty that all the guys are always chasing her. However, despite her flirtatious nature, she actually is engaged! She met this guy Mark who does video documentaries and professional photography for a living. She fell for him because he told her she was his favorite thing to snap pictures of. Her favorite things to do (aside of flirting with hotties at the smoothie bar) are karaoke, going out on the town, and just doing anything fun! She is a massive party animal and will never turn down a good party.
This is Becca. You would think that Becca would get picked on a lot because she speaks with a lisp and can't walk without the wooden crutch that she always carries with her. But reality is actually far from it! Becca is actually pretty popular with people, mostly because she acts like a gangster. She loves to do graffiti art in her sketchbook and have awesome rap battles with her guy friends. She's a major video game nerd and lives on Chipotle and Pizza.
This is Hailey. She, like Friday, also has a major love for the Christmas season. She is a very happy, jolly person and is always looking for ways to help people. Her hobbies are singing, ice skating, and making sweets! She is always in the kitchen making everything from cake to candy! She's quite known for her peanut brittle and her chocolate lizards.
This is Elena, the most outdoorsy person ever. She hates being in one place for too long and can't sit still for more than a few minutes. She loves archery, horseback riding, and adrenaline rush activities like zip lining, white water rafting, and parasailing. Elena loves adventure and loves to explore. She's obsessed with pirates and is always trying to be like her hero, Peter Pan.
This is Amber. Amber is a farm girl from Kansas, but she's far from being a southern belle. Now don't get her wrong! She loves farming, horses, cows, chickens, sheep, and even some kinds of country music. But I guarantee you the absolute last place you'll find her is in some kind of barn dance dressed head to toe in stick-and-leaf camo with a bottle of iced tea. NOPE. She would much rather be chilling at the mall with her friends or hanging at home with her boyfriend Benny and her cat Inkpot, binge-watching netflix.
