Guess who's Back!!

I'm BAAACK! So my internet has been down so I never got to tell you that WE DID IN FACT GO TO CALIFORNIA. And guess what, mates! . . .

WE WENT TO THE AMERICAN GIRL SLORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

OMG I'm so happy. Our new American Girl doll friend is named Kyleah. I'll tell you more about her in my next post, if i remember lol.  Now as pathetic and ridiculous as i feel leaving you with this ridiculously short post, I'm afraid I have to. It's really late here and I need to et some sleep. I just wanted to let you guys know that I was back and alive. I'll post better blogs next time!

VACATION

So it's not official yet, but Ashley and I just might be going on a road trip to California for THREE WEEKS! Ashley's grandma is going out there to visit family and she's bringing Ash's mom, Brigette, to be the driver. Ash was really upset about being away from her mom that long and so now we might be going! We just have to get the final confirmation from the grandma and it's set! While we're there, we will be doing all sorts of fun stuff. We'll be going to the beach, having bonfires with s'mores, and maybe even going to the American Girl store in Los Angeles!!!! GAAAAAH I'm so beyond excited! Wicked psyched. And since Ashley's birthday is soon, we might even be coming home with a new American Girl doll!! Now let's be real, that last bit is a LITTTTLE unlikely, but it never hurts to do some wishful thinking!

Now unfortunately, I won't have access to the internet while I'm in CA so I won'y be able to blog. But as soon as I get back though, I'll tell you all about it, I promise! I'll let you guys know when the grandmother sends us a yay or nay.

Introductory

SO. LET'S GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY. Every blog has first post that has all the introductory mumbo jumbo in it. Let this be mine and be done with it.

As the blog description says, this blog will often focus on things we're making at Sock & Button, a company I'll tell you about in a minute. I might even tell you how to make some of the things we make yourself, if I'm not too lazy to actually write the tutorials... But mostly, I made this blog to keep my followers up to date with not only stuff going on at S&B, but my personal life as well. I go places a lot and I like to share that with my followers. But before I get into any of that, let's be clear of who I actually am.

My name is Jaclyn Spencer. I am the official mascot and model for Sock & Button, a toy business that sells homemade dolls, doll clothes, and all sorts of other doll stuff. I am not a human, but a stuffed bunny. I am owned by Ashley Tester, the creator of S&B. I go with her everywhere she goes and am very well known by everyone who knows her. I am always seen either in her arms or in her backpack.

As for my personality, I am a mega fashionista with a strong sporty nature. My hobbies include traveling (of course), sewing, cooking, working out at the gym, playing guitar, drawing, painting, and volleyball. I also love shopping, hanging out with my friends and just being silly.

Well that about sums it up. And I'll admit, this is kind of a pathetic excuse for a first post, but I was never good at introductions. I promise I'll produce better content in the upcoming blogs. That said, let's pretend this awkwardness never happened and move forward. I'll see you in my next post!!!
